Happy 2011!

Every year we wake up and smell & breathe the air - the very first gulps of this new year. But then, we don't know what will be the first one that we needed to do. Perhaps fulfill some of the list of one's new year's resolution? Get new strategies for business? Get new clothes? Find your soulmate? Have a peaceful mind?

2010 is a bit not-so-great for me, but still a happy memory, but not that detailed just like the other years for me. Last year was the most challenging from me as I recently resigned, and then finding my way into photography.

I did not have any contact with my friends that much outside when I was working, but when I had the free time, I was able to capture beautiful things around me and was able to slow things down and re-connect with my friends, family and loved ones. It was that time that I forgot how simple life can be, and how wonderful it is to be seeing things from a different perspective.

I used to be negative - yes, as in pessimistic. I never liked people who are rude, stupid, insensitive and so on. Maybe there are reasons that we can never understand on people's attitudes. Even the ones with master's degree cannot solve these behaviors and such just by profiling. People are unpredictable. Sometimes, an epiphany is needed to put our life back on track.

Friends & family are there to support us - but they cannot be the ones who will help us all the way into the right door. They cannot be the ones who will take credit on how we lived life all this time. Only you can tell yourself on how you can live your life. Your friends & family are like your stars - your guidance. It's still up to you to decide whether to take up their advice and suggestions.

So if you still haven't change, don't feel sorry for yourself. You still have a whole year to find more on what you're looking for in this life. In the meantime, all we can say is goodluck. Luck may not be always on our side, but you still have your faith and hope inside. :)
